Six Sigma for All....

Six Sigma is for all.... and I seriously mean this. The best implementation of Six Sigma is found in every indian house. I believe it is across the globe in every house as women deploy it very effectively without statistical analysis or following DMAIC approach or without knowing that this problem solving & improvement strategy is called as Six Sigma in the corporate world. I have various hypothesis to prove the above statement and one of the situations wherein a woman would use Six Sigma to track what went wrong is as follows, Whenever the monthly budget overshoots a woman would do a root cause analysis and see what had been an issue and would identify that the either some special cause had occured like unusual guest or extra purchasing which was not required. But the best one which I like is the process of cooking which is exactly accurate and the chance of having a defect is rare. I barely remember that even once I had food which had high or less quantity of salt in it. I would certainly say that the cooking process in above Six Sigma ie. 3.4 Defect in million opportunities.
This is all about making Six Sigma reach the common man and to make them understand the jargons involved in it. I would try to make Six Sigma as easy as possible and also give layman examples so that the explanation is clear and can be related effectively.
Also I would try to cover topics which are required effectively in the corporate world which would enable the individual to perform better and reach out for bigger roles and make a difference in the organization they are working for.
